Excalibur 3900 Food Dehydrator
The 3900 series is primarily sold directly by Excalibur and is comparable to the 2900 which is sold primarily through distributors. The nine trays provide 15 square feet of dehydrating area which is great for knocking out large batches of jerky, apples, or anything else. This product comes in either white or black exterior (both have black trays and a black door; the white unit cost $10 more). If you are looking for a dehydrator that provides a lot of square footage, you might also consider the Nesco FD-1010 which can expand up to 30 square feet. However, tall items work much better in the Excalibur unit since you are able to remove trays to get extra height.
