Like our larger dehydrator, the D-10 now comes with a removable back panel, attached to the sides of the unit with latches. By allowing the back panel to be separated from the machine, cleaning and routine maintenance procedures are quick and painless. Similarly, we've incorporated our innovative racking system into this unit, featuring removable shelving brackets for more thorough cleaning. The D-10 now stands slightly taller on 1 inch legs, maximizing air circulation around the dehydrator. This new unit features improved controls with a new timer feature, allowing you to set your dehydrator for up to 12 hours of drying. The unit will automatically turn off at the end of the cycle. Want to dehydrate thicker food taking more than 12 hours or use a lower temperature setting? The controls also allow you dehydrate without using the timer so you can dehydrate to your own personal standards. For your convenience, we've also included a power indicator light to alert you when power is running to your dehydrator. Finally, we added a hole in the louvered door for the insertion for a thermometer so you can closely monitor the internal conditions during dehydration.
